Last summer, I visited Savannah. 💜 It's so beautiful! I recommend spending a few days in this charming coastal town if you're in the area. For the last prompt of #wanderfest2024, I created a little gouache collage of a few iconic sights from the Savannah/Tybee Island area. Fun fact, the day we went to the beach, a huge storm came in just as we arrived. And even the lighthouse was closed for tours due to the weather. Swipe ➡️ to see our 30 second beach day. 😂

I reworked the Cactus Rose motif by repainting it in Procreate with gouache for the Desert Dance prompt in the #WanderFest2024 drawing challenge.

All of these beautiful desert plants are native to West Texas: #pricklypear, #whitepricklypoppy and #agave. I couldn't resist adding a few little pollinators! 🐝 🦋

There is a special jewel in Austin, Texas called the @wildflowercenter. The Wildflower Center's mission, which was founded by Lady Bird Johnson, is the conservation of native plants. It's really a beautiful place. 🌸

Because of the summer heat that we endure in Texas, the spring display of wildflowers is my favorite time of the year. While the sea of bluebonnets along our Texas highways is really breaktaking, my favorites are the Texas Paintbrushes. I love the bright coral splashes of color. 🥰
